I was sent these fruit crisps a couple of weeks ago and I immediately assumed that they were going to taste like your conventional dried fruit but I couldn’t have been more wrong. They’re extremely crunchy, and seriously full of flavour, too.
London-based founders, Alessandro Ascani and Emily Wong created these delicious fruit slices, which are produced using a process called ‘vacuum frying’. This process preserves all of the beneficial nutrients in the fruit, which allows for a crunchy crisp that’s low in fat and calories, gluten free and vegan with no additives, no preservatives, kosher and they’re halal certified.
